I wanted to begin 2024 with one of my New Year Resolutions - start a blog.
I've loved writing for as long as I can remember. When I was in elementary school I had a notebook where I would write full on short stories, and my best friend would make all the illustrations for me. I was sure that I would be an author when I got older. Spoiler alert- not an author. I did continue writing short stories and keeping journals as a hobby, until after college when I started my first blog.
Since I started Lucy Lola in 2018, my focus shifted completely to my business, and I stopped writing altogether.
I wanted to start this blog as a way to implement writing back into my life and create a space where I can give life updates and show behind-the-scenes of my business. I also want to share helpful information for anyone looking to start their own small business, work with polymer clay, or sell their handmade items at markets, as well as showcase my favorite products that I use for my business and everyday life.
